The lower height is perfect for cats and small dogs, but it holds 80 oz so you don’t have to refill constantly. When you do need to refill, a handy LED light lets you know! For optimal performance, clean the fountain once a week, change the filter every two to four weeks, and disassemble/clean the pump once a month.
