The CamLocker RV Box is a versatile secure storage solution designed for applications where a traditional rail mounted tool box will not work. Originally used by AAA, Inc. and by CamLocker as a tack box in the horse and livestock markets, this box is equally at home in a truck bed, mounted on a trailer, placed on a dock, or anywhere secure gear storage is needed without sitting on bed rails.
Like all CamLocker boxes, the RV Box is built for maximum security. Instead of relying on low grade paddle locks, the CamLock system uses revolving cams that hook through welded catches to secure the lid in the closed position. Forced entry without a key would require breaking the lid or using power tools, giving you confidence that your tools, firearms, or valuable gear will remain protected.
The box is constructed from heavy duty .063 gauge polished aluminum finished in matte black for strength and rigidity. Its fully welded design provides long lasting durability in demanding environments. Full length continuous stainless steel hinges and insulated, weather sealed lids help protect your equipment from moisture, dust, and changing weather conditions.
Inside the box, all sides and the bottom are lined with felt carpeting that provides a clean, high end appearance while helping protect stored items from scratches. The carpeting is mold and mildew resistant, and the floor section is removable for easy cleanup. Removable sliding storage trays are included to help organize smaller tools and accessories.
