The DarkFighter Light Distraction System by Dark Systems expands the capabilities of the DarkFighter K9 Helmet by adding a powerful visual disruption tool designed for tactical deployments in confined and complex environments. This module uses an extremely bright forward-facing strobe light to create a sudden visual disturbance that can temporarily divert attention and disrupt an adversary’s ability to focus.
Activated remotely from up to 328 feet (100 meters) away, the system allows the handler to trigger the strobe at the exact moment it is needed without compromising position. A single press activates the light and a second press deactivates it, allowing fast and simple control during high pressure situations.
Producing up to 2600 lumens, the high intensity LED emits rapid flashes that instinctively cause individuals to avert their eyes or shield their vision. This brief distraction can create a critical opening for K9 teams by disrupting an adversary’s situational awareness and slowing reaction time.

The Light Distraction System mounts directly to the DarkFighter K9 Helmet in seconds using the included hardware. Its one click operation requires no specialized training, allowing for fast and effective deployment in the field. The strobe can also be mounted to a MOLLE compatible harness using the included vest adapter.
