*The large the dog, the more difficult to fit around the chest. Many big dogs have what is called a ‘barrel’ chest or have a very muscular chest such as Pitbulls and Pitbull mixes. Also, the longer the jersey the more it will slip around on the lower portion of the dog. The adjustable straps on the keep the jersey from sliding around and can be tightened around the chest, and adjusted so the lower portions does not get soiled during bathroom breaks.
