Harris Diatomaceous Earth is 100% ground freshwater diatomaceous earth- which means it is freshwater fossil shell flour- and it is perfect for preventing or helping you get rid of pests- especially fleas! To use as a preventative, lightly sprinkle the diatomaceous earth around the baseboards and entrances of your house.
r Currently fighting fleas? Dust the floorboards or carpet, the baseboards, doorways, windows, and even your pets! (That might sound like a lot, but when we say lightly sprinkle, you really do want to barely dust it.) After letting it sit for 30 minutes, comb or brush it out of your pets’ fur, and vacuum it from your floors! You can even use it outside to help deter those pests.

r It’s completely non-toxic, even if eaten, and it works by drying out those little buggies by piercing (on a microscopic level) their exoskeletons and absorbing the oils and fats. That’s why you want to brush it out of your pets’ fur and not dust them very often- it can dry out their skin, too! We love how easy this is to use, and how effective it is!
