PLEASE take the time to measure. The Chest Girth is the MOST important measurement. This measurement should be taken with your pup standing. Measure ALL the way around the body directly behind the front legs. Next important measurement is the length. 

The CHEST measurement on the diagram is measuring the front then doubling for the full chest girth.  The simplest way to select the size is to measure around your pets chest.
